Denbigh is uniquely situated as a small island of private land surrounded by a sea of crown land accessible to all. We have a variety of pre-scouted areas that will maximize your probability of success on your self-guided hunting adventure tour. Our deep forests are teeming with wildlife of all types ranging from partridge and rabbits to ducks and geese to deer and moose. For small game, mapped hiking tours are available to get you through the woods. For deer hunters both rifle and archery, pre-scouted watches are provided for those who don't have a territory, to begin your self-guided hunt.

Looking for ducks? Where are they? Look up! The vast quantity of small waterways in our region presents the ideal invitation for a rest and a meal to this migratory prey as they head south for the winter.

Guided duck and geese packages are not available at this time, however pre-scouted locations for self-guided hunts are available at the front desk.

A baby boom has hit the the deer population in the last few years, thanks largely in part to our milder winters. The result is deep, vast forests teeming with white tails. Estimates put the Ontario deer population at 400,000, translating into one to ten deer per square kilometer. A careful watch in a prescouted area will provide you with sightings on most days.

At this point in time, we cannot offer guided hunting tours; we can, howerver, escort you to a pre-scouted watch, and leave you to enjoy your day. Spots are limited, so book early.
